Giving Tree

Giving Tree

It is an Ocee Elementary tradition to collect items for those in need in our community as the Thanksgiving season approaches.  This year, Ocee PTA has partnered with Creative Community Services, Inc., which is a local non-profit organization that works to improve the quality of life for families of children,
teens and adults with developmental disabilities and mental health needs.

Ocee students will listen to the story The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein read aloud on Otter Talk. They will have a chance to write something they are thankful for on a leaf and place the leaf on our school’s very own Giving Tree, located on the wall by the front office.  Families are invited to donate the following items on the organization's wish list!
